Listing Optimisation

Systematic optimisation of product listings to improve organic visibility, click-through rate, and conversion — grounded in keyword data and competitive analysis.

A product listing is the intersection of search relevance and purchase persuasion. It needs to satisfy the Amazon algorithm's requirements for indexation and ranking, while simultaneously communicating value to a human shopper in a competitive environment. These two objectives are not always in tension, but managing them well requires both technical rigour and commercial judgement.

Keyword Research and Indexation

We conduct comprehensive keyword research using a combination of Amazon's own data, third-party tools, and category-specific analysis. We identify the full search term universe for each product — from high-volume head terms to long-tail conversion terms — and build a keyword strategy that prioritises indexation for the terms most likely to drive profitable traffic.

Title Optimisation

The title is the most important element of a listing for both search relevance and click-through rate. We structure titles to front-load the most important keywords while remaining readable and informative to the shopper. We follow category-specific best practices and Amazon's style guidelines, and we test title variations where the data supports it.

Bullet Points and Description

Bullet points are the primary decision-support content for most shoppers. We write bullets that address the key purchase criteria for your category, structured in order of importance to the buyer. We do not pad bullets with keyword stuffing. The description is used for secondary information and SEO reinforcement where A+ Content is not present.

Backend Search Terms

Backend search terms are an underutilised indexation asset on most listings. We populate backend fields with relevant terms that cannot be naturally incorporated into visible copy — including synonyms, alternative spellings, and complementary search terms.

Image and Video Review

While we do not produce product photography, we review your existing image stack against Amazon's requirements and category best practices. We identify gaps — missing lifestyle images, insufficient detail shots, absent infographics — and provide specific recommendations for improvement.

A listing that ranks but does not convert is a traffic problem. A listing that converts but does not rank is a visibility problem. We address both.
